My favorite part about orthodontics is building relationships with patients throughout their treatment and seeing their confidence grow alongside their healthy, beautiful smiles. Every smile is unique, and I love designing individualized treatment plans for each patient.

I was born and raised in Campinas, Brazil, and I moved to Western New York to pursue my higher education. I attended the University at Buffalo, where I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in both Biomedical Sciences and Medicinal Chemistry. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where I graduated with Thesis Honors. I continued my education with a three-year advanced specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which included a Master’s Certificate. During my time at Nova, I served as the Chief Orthodontic Resident of my residency program. I am board-certified with the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dentistry and orthodontics have been present in my life since childhood. My mom is a dentist, and I grew up visiting her office to assist. In college, I was introduced to the world of orthodontics by my father-in-law, Dr. Douglas Wright. I had the opportunity not only to be an Invisalign patient but also to work as an orthodontic assistant at his WNY orthodontic office. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career in dentistry, particularly in orthodontics.

Patient care and excellence are my top priorities, and I actively participate in continuing education to stay current with the latest literature and innovations in Orthodontics.

I am married to my husband, TJ, whom I met in college. We have two border collies, Maple and Hazel.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy going to concerts, reading, traveling, trying new restaurants, and catching up on the latest TV shows.
